Shaping the future – investing in knowledge and talent

The structural change in the economy and on the financial markets requires a continuous transfer of knowledge from research into practical application, as well as the presentation of practical issues to the scientific community. The DZ BANK Foundation complements the corresponding commitment of DZ BANK in the field of cooperatives and banking by promoting the academic education and training of particularly talented young professionals.

The planned merger with DZ BANK Foundation took place on 31 December 2022. The two foundations with legal capacity are thus taking the same step under foundation law that the founders, DZ BANK AG and WGZ BANK AG, took with their merger in 2025. The merger of the foundations enables an even more effective, charitable commitment.
